About

Body Armor is a company located in California.  They manufacture and produce after-market parts for 4x4 vehicles.  Some of the vehicles include Jeeps, Tundras, Tacomas and FJs.  They have a mission statement which says: “To put YOU in absolute control of your off road experience.” 

They strive to produce heavy duty, high quality parts for your 4x4 without causing you great expense in purchasing them.  Their parts are for EXTREME off road drivers and the vehicles that take them there.

Jeep Bumpers

In the category of front bumpers, they have three main choices.  There is the JK 19531 which has a clearance that is a bit higher than the norm.  It contains a winch plate that is integrated into the new design.  To install, simply bolt it on.  There are also in this category the TJ 19531 and more.

If rear bumpers are what you are in need of, they have those too.  They have a wide range of rear bumpers and some of them even include swing arms, winch mounts and more.  The bumpers with the tire carriers are very popular with Jeep drivers.  These even retain the tow hitch that was originally installed by the factory. 

Products

Body Armor Front Bumper

If you are in the market for a heavy duty, cost efficient front bumper for your Jeep then look no further than Body Armor.  Located in California, Body Armor has gained a reputation for producing some of the most rugged front bumpers available on the market today.

 

Don’t think though that just because the front bumpers made by Body Armor are rugged that they are not stylish and won’t make your Jeep look as mighty as possible.  They are instead, a very stylish way to protect the front of your Jeep.

Options

Installation

Bumpers

Whether you need a front or rear bumper, if you are extreme enough then check out the bumpers offered by Body Armor.  Both front and rear bumpers have simple bolt on installation.  They offer a variety of different styles and each style has its own benefits.  Some of the have auxiliary light mounts.  Some even have winch mounts.  For the rear bumper, you can choose plain bumpers or choose one with swing arm tire mounts.

Differential Armor

This is a very innovative product.  All of the differential covers made by Body Armor are made from steel casting that happens to be 100% ductile.  These add to your oil capacity enabling your engine to work at a cooler rate.  They have a design that is ribbed and reinforced for added strength and durability.

 

Rock Rails

The rock rails made by Body Armor are super cool, stylish, dependable and heavy duty.  If you want your Jeep protected, these rails will do the job.  Constructed of 3/16” steel, the slider plate offers unmatched protection.  It actually wraps under the entire vehicle!  Included in this system is a kick out rail.  Even though you may need to drill a hole or two, installation is basically bolt on.

Roof Racks

Everybody knows when you drive off road a lot, roof racks come in very handy.  You can carry all of your gear up there and even carcasses if you happen to be hunting.  Body Armor’s roof racks are made from steel tubing that is 2” thick.  Some of them have light mounts too.  These are easy to install because they are bolt on.  These are cool too because they do not have cross bars.

Body Armor Roof Rack

If you have ever been off road driving or camping, hunting or even to the beach in your Jeep then you know that a lot of times there just is not enough room in your Jeep to carry all of your gear.  There is a solution to this dilemma and Body Armor has what you need. 

Roof racks were created to carry your gear.  You can strap just about anything up there.  Maybe you are carrying coolers with your food and drinks for your off road adventures.  Maybe you have camping gear for that weekend getaway.  If you are taking a road trip you might even have your luggage up there.  Whatever you need to carry with you can be strapped on to your Body Armor roof rack. 

 

Features

You can get your Body Armor roof rack with a plethora of options, but all of the options go with roof racks that have the following features.  They are made from tubing made of steel that is 2” in diameter and .120 thick.  The finish on them is very durable as it is of a black powder coat that has a texture to it.  You can bolt this together yourself and it has hardware that is grade 8.  If you need light bars, no worries.  Both front and rear light bars come as a standard feature of these roof racks.  These also have a design that will allow you to add a Body Armor cargo basket.  If you want a roof rack but you have a soft top, this is not a problem.  You can keep the ability to retract your soft top and still keep the base of the rack.
